Mastery is a system that a player is able to focus their intense fighting experience into, categorized into three specific categories, which are collectively known as masteries. The more advanced masteries always require a working knowledge of previous masteries within a same tree. As a player gains levels within the game, they are able to select which specific areas of interest to focus on.
Masteries are not set in stone; based on the type of hero you wish to command in a game, masteries can be changed to better suit a player's needs, but you can only spend your mastery points up to 30 ("re-spec").
Trees
There are three types of trees that player can develop in:
- Magical Mastery
- Offensive Mastery
- Defensive Mastery
Mastery pages
Mastery pages can be stored and, later, chosen during hero selection.
You can have up to 10 Mastery Pages.

- Delete : Deletes a mastery page.
Mastery levels
- With each level achieved by a player, he/she also receives one mastery point, capped at 30 points (30 levels).
- Each point spends in a tree increases bonus attributes based on a tree's type and first mastery point you spend in any tree increases bonus attribute more than the next points you spent in a same tree.
- Every 3 points spend in a same tree increases 3 optional masteries from a tree which you can pick only one.
- Each tree contains at least 15 mastery points and you can pick at most 5 masteries from a tree, so at 30 levels the Summoner is able to completely fill 2 out of 3 trees.
- This adds a strategic element to your selection of masteries, as you can choose masteries that suit with your hero, spells, and teammates.
